Some possible corporate workshop options are as follows:

Office Chair Yoga

To address the normal every day kinks, aches, and pains that we gather from extended time periods working at an office desk.


This class will include simple movements and stretches that you can do at your desk in your office chair to relieve tension and stress. You can take all of the exercises as a full daily routine, or break it up into 2-5 minute increments to do every hour or so as your day progresses to keep the tension at bay.

Low Back Focus

Low back pain is incredibly common and prevalent in American society. So much so that one study lists it as the #1 cause of disability in the US, and the #2 cause of lost time at work, second only to the common cold.


Learn about common causes of Low Back pain and simple exercises and stretches to help prevent and even diminish low back tension. This class is designed for general low back issues related to our work environment, but feel free to bring questions and any injuries or issues you may have and we can discuss those in brief as well.

 


 

Shoulder Focus

Working in an office, driving a car, sitting on a couch, and many other life routines bring stress and tension into the shoulders. No wonder we sometimes feel like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders.


Using simple Yoga and breath techniques we will discuss and demonstrate various ways to help open up the shoulder and neck area, and help de-stress and reduce tension and even pain. This class is designed for general shoulder issues related to our work environment, but feel free to bring questions and any injuries or issues you may have and we can discuss those in brief as well.

 


 


Hip Focus

If you sit at a desk all day, or stand on your feet all day, or walk or run or drive a car or sit on a couch, chances are you will have some tension around the hips.


In this session we will talk about and focus on common areas of hip tension, how they relate to back and knee tension and pain, and some simple and easy ways to start to relieve some of that tension. The hips are the largest joint in the body, with a large range of motion. Learn some ways to keep that range of motion while also maintaining stability.
